We are pleased to announce the addition of our new female therapist!!

Linda Thompson Carman is a retired teacher and school counselor having served both Lincoln and Garrard County School Systems. She received both her Bachelor’s degree in English Education and Master’s degree in community and school counseling from Eastern Kentucky University. She has been married to Tim D. Carman for almost 39 years and has two children and two grandsons. She and Tim now reside on a farm on KY 906 in Casey County.

Linda will be available for appointments very soon!

Today we take a moment to recognize the ones who may be missing family members who have passed this holiday season.

We think of those who could not provide what they wanted for their little ones no matter how hard they worked.

We empathize with those who may not have a roof over their head or a Christmas meal to eat.

Christmas is a beautiful time but for some grief and sorrow fill their hearts and minds.

Here at Anchored Way Counseling, we encourage you to take time for yourself, sleep and eat well, and try to keep the traditions of lost loved ones alive.

Anchored Way Counseling will be providing
Thanksgiving Day Meal Kits FREE to families in this community. Clients interested in receiving a Thanksgiving Day Meal package will need to fill out an application or reach out to us directly. Paper applications are posted in the box outside of our office. Again, if clients are unable to fill out a paper app, they can reach out to us directly and a member of staff will assist in the application process.

Package will include but will not be limited to:
Potatoes
Gravy Mix
Mac & Cheese
Desserts
Dinner Rolls
Yams
Green Beans
Cranberry Sause etc.

Mental Health Support Group
Where? Here at the Anchored Way Office 36 Beldon Ave. Liberty, KY 42539
When? The second Thursday of each month at 5:00PM. First one will be held on Nov. 13th.
Who can attend? ANYONE. If you or someone you know is struggling. This is the place to be. Hear others share and experience encouragement like never before!
The Focus- Each month we will be focusing on different aspects of Mental Health and Stability.

This will be community led and is an informal group for all! Light refreshments will be served.
