November is National Healthy Skin Month, so it's a great time to start some healthy skin habits. Here are some of our tips for more radiant skin:

1. Make sure to get enough sleep--sleeping helps our bodies repair skin and other tissues.
2. Get help for your chronic skin conditions. Skin conditions like eczema can be worse in cold weather--make sure to see a board-certified dermatologist to lessen the effects.
3. Colder weather isn't a reason to skip the sunscreen! Keep using sun protection on any exposed areas.

Happy Halloween from our team! With all the scary makeup and copious amounts of sweets associated with this day, we just can't help but to give a couple of skincare tips:

1. Make sure to use a good cleanser to remove any makeup.
2. Test out any new products before a full application to make sure you don't have an allergy.
3. It's okay to have a few sweets, but keep in mind, too much is bad for your skin.
4. Have fun! Stress reduction is great for skin!

Happy My Best Winter Skin Day! While skincare is important every day, the colder, dryer air in winter can be particularly harsh on skin. Here are a few quick tips for having your best winter skin:

1. Use a thicker (and good quality) moisturizer to keep skin hydrated.
2. Use a humidifier at home to keep skin from drying out.
3. Don't forget the sunscreen! There might be less sun, but it's still there. Sunscreen is still important when you're out during daylight hours.
