What a transformation!! This very cool patient came to me for a chest masculinization procedure. He underwent "double-incision" mastectomy with free nipppe grafting. This is 4 months postop with an excellent result already. The scar will continue to fade with time, and will hide in the shadow of the pec muscles. He was so happy, he got a tattoo of my signature! I'm so honored!!

My little man turned 6 years old today! How did the time fly by so quickly? I took the afternoon off from work and visited him at school as the special mystery reader. We read his favorite book to his class and then left school early to get ice cream! Then we went home and did some face painting and opened his present, followed by dinner. All in all, a memorable day for my special little guy. Mommy and daddy love you so much!! โค๏ธโค๏ธ

Oncoplastic breast rearrangement for breast cancer ๐ŸŽ€

This beautiful lady came to see me after receiving a breast cancer diagnosis on the right side. She opted for lumpectomy and radiation for treatment but would have had a noticeable distortion from a lumpectomy alone given the location and size of the tumor. I planned her incisions, Dr. and I worked together to remove the tumor with a generous margin, and then I rearranged the breast into a more lifted and perky appearance that avoids disfigurement. Radiation can also cause some tightening of the breast skin and tissue, so I designed the cancer side to be slightly larger than the non-cancer side to accommodate those slow changes over time. She is now cancer free and very happy with her result.
