Simply put, it is an upbeat and energizing hybrid of mat Pilates movement combined with cardio-aerobic activity creating a well balanced workout of heart rate rising exercise and muscle toning and flexibly moment. More specifically, our Cardio-aerobic movements could include sets of jumping jacks, lateral leaps, jump roping, then switches to standing Pilates exercises including standing leg circles, squats, lunges which are interspersed between mat Pilates exercises which could include Pilates 100s, leg drops, hip dips...and much, much more! In short, you will get a great of heart-rate rising activity and intentional toning exercises. If you feel excitedly challenged by the mention of these exercises, hurrah! If you feel intimidated, please DON'T. I share modifications for most of the movements so that you are always working within your own comfort zone. And lets not forget the power of motivation found when working out in a group setting! In short, these workouts are designed to be effective in burning calories, toning muscles, making you stronger all while having FUN!
