Congratulations Veronica Medina Olivares, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.

Avalon Village is proud to honor Veronica Medina Olivaresas this year’s award recipient. Veronica has been a CNA since 2016 and has dedicated her career to caring for others with compassion, skill, and heart. She not only provides excellent care to residents, but also serves as a preceptor - mentoring, motivating, and teaching new CNAs as they begin their own journeys in healthcare. Her leadership and guidance have helped shape a strong, supportive team environment where residents and staff alike feel valued.

Veronica’s calling to healthcare began after the passing of her grandmother. Walking alongside her family through that difficult time inspired her to dedicate her life to helping offering comfort to others.

Veronica is now pursuing her dream of becoming a Registered Nurse, with plans to continue her career at Avalon Village. She believes deeply in the impact she makes each day simply by showing up, giving her best, and bringing kindness to others. Her colleagues describe her as having a big heart, a contagious sense of humor, and a gift for bringing joy into every interaction. Residents feel her love and dedication, and staff members admire her positive spirit.

Outside of work, Veronica loves baking and often surprises those she cares about with homemade treats. Her greatest motivation comes from her loving husband, their two children, and their two dogs, who fill her life with happiness and encouragement.
