1977 NEW AGE SYMPOSIUM -
There was very little natural health care on Kaua`i at that time.
Mitzi Gold & I wanted to introduce as many people as we could to the benefits of healing without drugs or surgery. So we (mostly she) put together this 4 day sampling of one and two hour classes. $2 each or $20 for 4 days. Many people attended, some took follow up classes and a few became practitioners.
Yoga, herbs, raw food, organic gardening, Midwifery, Chiropractic, Polarity Therapy, Iridology and a few more.
Topics & ideas new to many. Was a good time for us.

They make some good points. Yes, the logistics of our health care system needs major overhaul making it accessible to all and less for profit what really needs adjusting is going from a disease care system to a HEALTH care system with people invested in taking care of themselves and not relying on drs and the system.
