This week on Teaching Tuesday, we’re discussing Occupational Therapy and why it’s so important for our kiddos.
Occupational Therapy (OT) helps children build the skills they need for everyday life, from holding a pencil and buttoning a shirt to managing big emotions and sensory challenges.
For children on the spectrum, OT can be especially helpful with:
✨ Sensory regulation
✨ Fine motor skills
✨ Handwriting & self-care tasks
✨ Emotional coping strategies
✨ Social participation
It’s not just about “therapy” it’s about helping each child feel more confident, independent, and successful in their daily world.
Every small step counts. 💙
