This week we held our first Fish Fry Fundraiser in support of the Alzheimer's Association. We would like to thank our gracious community for their support to a cause that we hold so dear to our hearts here at The Springs of Lima. Thanks to all of you, we raised nearly $800 in donations with nearly 100 Fish Fry orders. We hope to see all of your smiling faces again soon. With love, your Springs of Lima team!

We had our first Elegant Meal of the year called Winter Gala last week. The Assisted Living was decorated in a beautiful Sage green that accentuated the snow tipped evergreen, and eucalyptus. The Health Center shimmered with it's beautiful light blue and silver accents. The elegant decor and wonderful food created a calm, uplifting atmosphere that made the feel of the room extra special. It was a wonderful evening filled with fun and fellowship.

Legacy residents spent the last few weeks planning and creating a Valentine's Meal for themselves and their loved ones. They wanted to get every detail perfecting including their choices for what the meal would include, how their decorations would look, and even the colors of the table linens. They even made their own homemade pickles. The meal was a great success and everyone had a wonderful time.

The holidays are about family and traditions. Lisa N. came in to demonstrate making Pizzelles to all of the Legacy residents. She brought in her Pizzelle iron and their family recipe. Her Dad, John, enjoyed reminiscing and sharing the finished product with all of his Legacy friends.
