We are sad to hear Schwietermans Pharmacy is going out of business on December 31. They were a great company to refer our clients to if we didn't have what they were looking for. With that being said we are accepting referrals for all CPAP request. Adaptive Medical has a respiratory therapist on staff and will personally take care of your needs. So I wanted to share this with the public and our clients. Medicare has gone to the Medicare Advantage Programs. Our company is in network with the standard Medicare and the Aetna Advantage plan. I have been trying for 3 years now to get into network with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Humana, and United Healthcare. They continually say that there are too many stores like ours in the Lima Area. What I keep stressing to them is that no one in our area carries wound care supplies and incontinence and urological products. So if your in need of these products, you will have to travel at least 20 miles to get them. Oh course with our government, they really don’t care. Adaptive Medical Marketing, Inc. has been in my husband and my name for four years. We have worked on this business like we would run one in our small community. We know our customers and treat them with the utmost respect. Our clients are like family and we genuinely care what goes on in their lives. As the Medicare Advantage Programs grow, they are ran by big businesses who treats you like a number. We just found out last week that Buckeye Healthcare “A Medicaid My Care Program” is going to do business with a billion dollar company in Michigan. They will have a mail order program set up for Diabetic Supplies, Incontinent Supplies, and Urinary Supplies. So now our tax dollars are not even being utilized in Ohio. The people that are set up on these programs are the mentally and physically disabled kids in Ohio. We have several clients that we will be losing because of this. These kids will be known as a number, not someone that really cares about them. Our company have people that come in everyday complaining about the other companies in our area. I just wanted to give our customers a heads up on what is going on. All of the little companies will be no longer be around in a few years. And guess who will be taking over all of the business. Our beloved government and their billion dollar companies that they work with. Thank you for all of our customers support!!
