It's been on my heart for a while, so it's time to ask: If I were to hold space for a 9-week group for women and femmes who want to transform their relationship with food that would include breathwork, writing, and meditation, would you be interested?

Starting this month, I am hosting a 4-week nature writing and breathwork class, Inner Ecology: Writing with Nature Series. The first session begins on July 27th, and we’ll meet on four consecutive Saturdays to delve into selected readings by Jamie Figueroa, Lauret E. Savoy, Toni Morrison, and Jesmyn Ward.

More than ever, we need spaces to imagine and create ourselves into the future, into what is possible. If you're looking for a place to be held, to write and remember, I hope you can join me.

I am deeply honored to provide a container for deep listening and look forward to welcoming folks from all levels of meditation and writing experience.

You can learn more about the series, and register here:

Today we are launching our end of year fundraising campaign with new artwork from q***r, disabled cultural worker Chiara Francesca! We’re raising $25,000 for our 25th year of resourcing gender justice movements at Third Wave Fund (give at bit.ly/give2thirdwavefund), but we’re also asking you to join us in investing in our collective liberation for the next five years and beyond by taking the Powerful Futures Pledge. Learn more about the pledge and commit to movement sustainability at bit.ly/powerfulfutures.

Can you envision the futures we’re building and resourcing together? Imagine – a future where abortion access is free and accessible in every city. A future where survivors are free to be wherever they feel safe. Stories of q***r and trans joy eliminating every heartbreaking headline, community spaces replacing every police station, community-directed resources diverted from closed youth prisons, every dollar reclaimed from bloated war budgets. Our communities don't only deserve this safe and abundant future – it’s necessary for our survival. The alternative future is becoming more clear and dire every single day. We need you to join us in resourcing now and for the long term so that the alternative is no longer an option. WE BUILD THE FUTURE BY RESOURCING THE PRESENT. Will you join us?

Image Description: A large, yellow crystal ball hangs in the center of the image with large text black within it that reads, "We build the future by resourcing the present." The crystal ball is surrounded on either side and below by luminescent, multi-color flowers. The backdrop is a dark shade of blue with golden stars covering it.
