The best defense against Medicare fraud, errors, and abuse is you. Checking your Medicare Summary Notices when they come in the mail is an important habit to start. Here are a few important things to look for to help spot potential fraud.

If you have questions about how to review your MSN or discrepancies you may find, contact the Ohio Senior Medicare Patrol. They can help you check your account for suspicious activity. They also report suspected fraud to the HHS Office of the Inspector General to help track down scammers and put them in jail. 800-293-4767

Join the Ohio Department of Medicaid for a Next Generation MyCare Community Visit

The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is hosting a community visit in Lima, Ohio to share information about the Next Generation MyCare program and what it means for you.
The program is an improved healthcare program for Ohioans who have both Medicaid and Medicare. It is currently available in 29 counties across the state. On May 1, the program will roll out across the following counties: Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Mercer, Putnam, and Van Wert.
