If you need a back, knee, or wrist brace, work with your primary physician. Don't accept or order these braces through phone calls, TV ads, or mailings. These aren't "free" and they may not fit or work for you.

The company that is providing the brace may send you multiple braces you don’t need and call you excessively; this can prevent you from receiving equipment you may need in the future.

We have received reports that scammers are spoofing our non-emergency phone number and calling residents to demand payment.

⚠️ Important:
• We will NEVER call you to request payment for a warrant or a fine.
• Our non-emergency number (419-227-3535) will NOT appear on your caller ID if we contact you.
• If you receive a call where 419-227-3535 shows on your caller ID and the caller is demanding payment, it is a SCAM.

Scammers can manipulate caller ID to make it look like the call is coming from a trusted number.

🔒 Protect yourself:
• Do not give out personal information
• Do not give out banking or credit card information
• Do not send money or transfer funds to unknown callers

If you receive one of these calls, hang up immediately.
