Heaven gained another angel this morning. Joy Trumbore flew to a glorious reunion with her loved ones. She was in her 90’s and lived a long active life. 🙏🙏🙏

Please be kind and understanding as Dr. Trumbore grieves the loss of his beloved mother. I will be making calls shortly to adjust the schedule to give him time.
We truly appreciate all of your loyalty and support. ❤️

Does everyone here know Visine is really bad for your eyes?!!!!! I feel like I keep hearing folks say that’s what they are using. STOP IT, STOP IT NOW. Do not use those eye drops. They actually contain ingredients called vasoconstrictors that work by shrinking your blood vessels which ends up dilating them larger then in the first place. It’s actually creating a cycle to make them red, called rebound redness. It even contains a preservative called benzalkonium chloride that is one of my least favorite.

I just wanted to share this post from a Doctor in one of my groups.
You get a Contact Exam/Evaluation YEARLY to check the health of your eyes. We need to make sure you can continue to wear contacts. They are a medical device. This patient would never of known that she had a horseshoe shaped macular tear. Because this OD was doing her job and seeing this contact wearer yearly this was even caught! Please please get a exam yearly especially if you wear contacts. Your eyes tell a story about your health after all.

It’s the giving season!
I’ve been helping people see for almost 11 years. I wouldn’t do anything else even if I could.
I had a sad situation the other day which led me to this post.

If you know someone struggling to purchase glasses, if you are a teacher and know a child. If you are a mom and really needs help for your child to get new glasses pm me!

I will help 2 children who ARE IN NEED see for free!
If you are a adult pm me as well I have a ton of options and a ton of help I can give.

I have been so grateful to all the families coming in and being so welcoming when they see me again. Oh my Jamie we have missed you, how are you, how are the kids?…... I realized how much it actually meant to me when I was replying to a post on Facebook about how good it feels to help people see and be a Optician. So I wanna share my reply and thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Over the past 7 years you all have become a big part of me!

People keep coming back, yes because I’m good but also because they know I really really do care. They know if anyone can make it happen for them I will do whatever it takes and be totally honest about it. I have laughed with people and I have cried but I absolutely love I am part of their lives. That every year in their little heads they say I have to go see Jamie I need new glasses. It might be a small victory to people but to me and all I have been through in life it’s the biggest win I’ll ever have in my life and for that I am so freaking incredibly proud❤️

Did you know with your insurance we can help protect you from blue light in a couple of ways just by wearing your glasses.
The first way is simply having your lenses turn into sunglasses while you are outside. Transition lenses have a built in blue blocker.
The second way is by a anti reflective coating called Crizal Prevencia although someone looking at you can see a blue/ purple hue to the lenses it’s a great way to block blue light and have a anti glare coating all together.
The simplest way without changing the appearance of the lenses and what people see on your lenses from their side is called a Essential Blue coating and with most insurance it is only a $15 copay!
