Triple Board Certified in General Cosmetic Surgery, Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Otolaryngology- Facial Plastic Surgery

Dr. Jacobson is a native of Lincoln who attended Lincoln East High School. She also was active in the Alpha Omicron Pi house at UNL, serving as Vice-President. She went on to earn her medical degree in 2015 from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. During medical school, Dr. Jacobson sought to learn more about the intricacies of ethics in medicine and took the extra initiative to acquire her Master of Arts in Bioethics degree, with a thesis on Facial Transplantation. She also completed a one-year undergraduate fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine where she lectured and delivered hands-on teaching to medical students at KCUMB. Following medical school, she completed her Otolaryngology-Facial Plastic Surgery Residency through Kansas City University-Freeman Health Systems in Joplin Missouri in 2020. To round out her training, Dr. Jacobson completed an additional year of advanced surgical fellowship training in facial and full-body cosmetic surgery with nationally renowned cosmetic and facial plastic surgeon Dr. J. Kevin Duplechain in Lafayette Louisiana, through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

🍂 It’s officially peel season! 🍂

Summer fun is great… but the sun damage it leaves behind? Not so much.
If you’ve noticed more brown spots, dullness, or uneven texture lately: THIS is your sign that it’s time for a VI Peel.

Here’s the scoop 👇
💫 The process: Super quick: about 30 minutes start to finish. You’ll leave with the peel on your skin for a few hours, then wash it off at home.

🔥 How it feels: A little warm or tingly, but nothing crazy. Most people say it’s tolerable and spicy just for a bit. 🌶️

📆 What to expect:
    •    Days 1–2: Skin feels a bit tight, maybe a little pink.

We loved celebrating creativity, confidence, and community at Project Funway: an annual fashion design competition and runway show where UNL students and local designers transform thrifted pieces into stunning, one-of-a-kind looks 👗

All proceeds benefit Fresh Start, a local non-profit providing housing and skill-building support for women experiencing homelessness.
Their mission deeply aligns with ours: empowering women to rebuild, rise, and step forward with confidence. 💪

A huge thank-you to everyone who makes this event possible and to Fresh Start for the life-changing work they do every day.

Today’s Save NE Local Mastermind was all about transformation: and not just the cosmetic kind.
