Hello friends and neighbors,

I wanted to share a quick update regarding Medicare patients at Ponderosa Clinic.

Due to some recent administrative changes on my end, I am not currently able to accept new Medicare patients for care, including both Direct Primary Care memberships and urgent care visits, effective immediately. Established clinic members who have Medicare will continue care at the clinic without disruption.

This is a temporary adjustment while I sort through some next steps for the clinic and ensure everything is set up in a way that is sustainable and compliant moving forward.

I appreciate your understanding, and I will continue to share updates as things evolve.

For the month of March (or while supplies last) come in for an IV hydration and nutrition session with Tri-Immune boost which contains vitamin C, zinc and the "master antioxidant" glutathione for only $100. While I cannot cure the current viruses going around town, this vitamin cocktail has been very helpful in decreasing symptoms for sufferers.

The tagline for this article is that "2026 is on track to be the most expensive year in Healthcare history...until next year". The costs of Healthcare are rising at an astronomical rate. Not knowing how much your care will cost is a huge stressor for all of us. Utilizing the DPC model and practicing price transparency is how I am doing my part to keep Healthcare costs as low as possible. Nobody like surprises (except maybe flowers on valentine's day hint hint honey) and when that surprise is the fact that the insurance you already pay a lot of money for has found a way to make you shoulder a huge amount of an already high bill, nobody wins except for CEOs of the FOR PROFIT insurance companies.

Happy New Year! On January 1 each year I like to spend some time in reflection of successes and opportunities for improvement that I experienced over the previous year. I don't make NYE resolutions, but I do like to make plans and reflect on goals. While watching the news this morning I saw a psychologist on a segment who said "resolutions without plans are just wishes". This was so insightful and I appreciate that she was able to put my thoughts into words there. I would like to extend a challenge to all who are reached by this post...pick a goal for 2026 and outline a plan to help you achieve it! We've got this!
