π Happy APRN Week to all the incredible Advanced Practice Registered Nurses out there!π
This week, IPA would like to take a moment to honor and appreciate the dedication, expertise, and compassion that not only our APRNs bring, but to ALL APRNs in the healthcare field. Your commitment to patient care and health advocacy makes a world of difference.
Let's show our gratitude by sharing stories, appreciation posts, or simply saying "thank you" to the APRNs in our lives. Together, we can raise awareness about the vital role they play in keeping our communities healthy.
This Veterans Day we are reminded of the unwavering commitment our veterans have made in their service to our country. We are honored to work alongside Sharon Lee, APRN, FNP-C, Lt. Col. (Ret.), who served in the Air Force Reserves for 25 years, and Jill Hull, COO of Teledym Health, who served as a medic in the Air Force for eight years.
We also want to recognize Ava Spinar, daughter of Dr. Anne Perlman and David Spinar. Ava is a Second Lieutenant in the US Army.
A special thank you to Sharon, Jill, and Ava, and to all veterans for their dedication and service to our country.

Our IPA Team in Grand Island decided to participate in Bryan Health's Pumpkin Competition. Check out their pumpkin that was painted to resemble Dr. Mitchell Hervert. The result was a striking and humorous likeness that captured not only his distinguished features but also his playful personality. We hope you all have a safe and spook-tacular Halloween!

Beyond the physical benefits, the Lincoln Corporate Games provide an excellent platform for giving back to the community. At IPA, we recognize the importance of community service and the impact it can have on the lives of others. This year, our team was thrilled to collect and donate 117 pounds of goods to the local Food Bank. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a worthy cause.

It's Alyssa Joya's birthday today, the FIRST official day of Fall! Alyssa is IPA's Administrative Assistant! She will be spending her birthday evening celebrating with her family and probably eating a slice (or twoπ) of pumpkin pie next to the fire pit!
Angela Krafka, APRN, will be kicking off her birthday tomorrow to celebrate the season of Fall with her family. This usually involves golf, π picking and baking some yummy fall treats - "it is my favorite time of year!"

Inpatient Physician Associates (IPA) is a physician-owned and physician-led hospital medicine practice group located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Established in 2001 as one of the first hospitalist practice groups, IPA has grown to become the largest hospitalist group in the U.S., providing care to inpatients at Bryan Medical Centerβs two locations in Lincoln. We serve patients from communities across Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, and other states in the region.
Our compassionate and experienced team includes board-certified internal medicine physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and registered nurse coordinators. Each team member at IPA is a stakeholder in the company. Because each of our physicians are involved in the day-to-day operations and decision making, each member is fully committed to making our hospitalist group the best it can be.
What makes IPA unique is our culture of teamwork and the extraordinary level of medical expertise we provide to our patients, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are committed to providing the highest quality care to the patients we serve in an atmosphere of collegial support and sharing of best practices.
Quote from employee survey: βWe have a culture of working well together. There is mutual respect among physicians and associates.β
Hospitalist care has been well received within our community and across the country. Surveys of our referring physicians and patients consistently show a very high satisfaction rating for our hospitalist program. Patients appreciate having a physician immediately available to answer questions and to meet with their families at any time.
Our commitment to quality care and service has led to a national reputation for excellence. As a result, our program model has been featured in leading healthcare publications and we have consulted with practices throughout the country to establish, expand, and improve hospitalist programs.
