They say you’re never too old to learn a new trick—or a new bank shot! Today, we witnessed a wonderful moment of mentorship at the billiards table.

One of our resident pool sharks took a neighbor under his wing, sharing the secrets of the perfect stance and how to line up that winning shot. It wasn't just about sinking the 8-ball; it was about the patience, the pointers, and the great conversation that happens between turns.

It’s moments like these—where residents share their lifelong passions with one another—that make our community so special.

✨ Rolling Out the Red Carpet (and the Clean Wheels!) ✨

We had the absolute pleasure of hosting Kenzie and Natalie from Visiting Angels Lincoln - Home Care Service for a **Walker & Wheelchair Wash** day here at The Knolls! 🫧🦽

There’s nothing like a fresh shine to brighten up the day. Our residents loved the extra pampering for their "rides," but they loved the wonderful company and conversation even more. It’s the little things—like a sparkling clean walker and a warm smile—that make our community feel like home. 💙

A huge thank you to this amazing team for their kindness and hard work. We love our community partners who go above and beyond to bring joy to our residents!

There’s something so joyful about the tradition of an Easter egg hunt. Whether they were hunting for themselves or helping the grandkids find a hidden treasure, this was all about community, sunshine, and a little bit of candy! Thank you to everyone who made this "egg-straordinary" event happen.

Easter fun is hopping into action at The Knolls! 🐰🥚✨

Our wonderful residents got together this week to fill colorful Easter eggs in preparation for our highly anticipated Annual Family Easter Egg Hunt happening THIS Saturday!

There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of sweet treats as our team worked hard to make sure every egg is packed with a special surprise. It was a beautiful reminder of the joy of community and the anticipation of welcoming our families for a day of celebration.

Hopping with Joy! 🐰🐐

Our Memory Care residents had some very special (and very fuzzy) visitors today! A huge thank you to Little Horn Ranch for bringing over the sweetest trio of new friends.

Between cuddles with Honeybun and Floppy the bunnies, and getting to meet Oreo, a precious two-week-old baby goat, there were smiles all around. There is truly something magical about the connection between our residents and animals—it sparks so many wonderful memories and pure joy.

🧵 Happy National Quilters Day! ✂️

Today we’re celebrating the artistry, patience, and creativity of quilters everywhere—especially our many Knolls residents who have been lifelong quilters. Their talent and dedication to the craft is truly inspiring. ❤️

To mark the day, we took a special trip to the International Quilt Museum, where we enjoyed stunning exhibits showcasing quilting traditions from around the world. Our residents loved seeing the intricate patterns, vibrant textiles, and incredible workmanship on display.

A beautiful day of creativity at the Knolls! Residents joined teaching artist Linda Stephen to fold origami hearts and cranes for public art that represents a prayerful longing for peace and will involve thousands of origami birds created by all ages from throughout the community, “1,000 Birds for Peace.”
✨ The final artwork debuts May 2 at the Holy Trinity Arts Festival!

Our ladies had a wonderful afternoon out at Lazlo’s Brewery & Grill. Between the hickory-grilled favorites and the nonstop laughter, it was the perfect way to spend a Tuesday.

We believe that staying active and connected is the secret to a happy heart!

☘️ Feeling Lucky & Staying Strong!
Our community is glowing with a different kind of "gold" today—the vibrant spirit of our residents! We are painted in every shade of green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, and the energy is absolutely infectious.

From festive outfits to some serious hard work in our morning fitness session, we’re proving that luck is what happens when preparation meets a great attitude. Our exercise crew even got into the spirit by "flexing" with our green weights! 💪💚

May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light, and may good luck pursue you each morning and night! Happy St. Patrick’s Day from all of us! 🌈✨
