✨ You are never bothering your doula. ✨

Your questions, your late-night texts, your worries, your excitement—it’s all part of the journey, and it’s an honor to walk through it with you. 🌿

Being invited into such a sacred season of life is not a burden, it’s a gift. A doula’s heart is to hold space, to listen, to support, and to remind you that you are never alone in this. 💛

So reach out. Ask the question. Share the thought. Celebrate the milestone. Cry the tear.
Your doula is here for all of it.

🌼✨ There’s something truly magical about birth — it’s raw, powerful, beautiful… and a little bit messy. But in the best way. 💕

Enter the doula: part cheerleader, part comfort guru, part birth encyclopedia. 📚💪 Whether it’s holding a hand, offering a soothing word, or just being a calming presence in the storm, doulas make birth a little softer, a little sweeter, and a lot more supported.

Because every birthing person deserves to feel held, not just by love, but by someone who knows the way. 🕊️

Here’s to doulas — the heart-holders, the space-keepers, the quiet heroes of life’s biggest entrance. 👶🫶

Open. Release. Let’s dive in:

One of the most important tools in labor is learning how to release and stay open. Physically, this means relaxing the jaw, shoulders, and pelvic floor to encourage the cervix to soften and open. Mentally and emotionally, it’s about letting go of fear and tension—both of which can inhibit progress. Practicing deep breathing, vocalization, and mindful movement can all support this process. Surrender isn’t weakness—it’s strategy. You got this momma! 💜

Shout out to all the amazing birth workers out there… 💖

We are the calm in the storm, the gentle hand to hold, and the steady support every step of the way. 🌸 Whether we’re whispering words of encouragement, offering a comforting touch, or simply being there to listen, we show up with love, compassion, and strength.

Birth is a sacred journey, and we’re honored to walk alongside families as they bring new life into the world. 🌿✨ The work we do is not just about delivering babies – it’s about nurturing the entire family, supporting healing, and empowering parents to feel confident and cared for.

Thank you to all my fellow doulas, midwives, and birth workers who pour your hearts into this beautiful, challenging, and transformative work. You are making the world a better place, one birth at a time. 💕

Are you ready for some interesting information? Here’s my story… ‼️‼️‼️

Throughout each of my pregnancies, I experienced what I thought was “prodromal labor” as early as 4-5 months. I would rush to the OB ER, worried that I might be in early labor, only to be reassured that everything was fine and sent home with the label of “Braxton Hicks.” Yet, no doctor ever considered the possibility that my gallbladder could be the culprit behind the labor-like pain I was feeling, despite it being a well-known cause of similar symptoms during pregnancy.

This journey has been a long one, full of unanswered questions—until now. On January 18th, I finally had my gallbladder removed. The pain I’d been experiencing, both during and after my pregnancies, has greatly subsided, and I can feel the difference.

This experience has been a reminder to never stop advocating for yourself. As women, our concerns deserve to be heard, not dismissed. I often wish a doctor had said, “What you’re experiencing is unusual for pregnancy at this stage, let’s investigate further.” It could have saved me a lot of money spent on ER bills and, more importantly, given me peace of mind during my pregnancies.

A study published in The Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology found that 1 in 1,000 to 3,000 pregnancies may require a cholecystectomy. (Gallbladder removal.)

🚩🚩🚩 You are allowed second opinions, third opinions, fourth opinions, so on and so on! Your pain does matter, you matter.

Sharing this tonight to maybe help some other women who might be dealing with similar symptoms or for some comfort knowing always trust your momma instincts. 💜
