Grief isn’t just about death- It can show up after a breakup, a major life transition, losing a job, moving to a new city, or even when the future you imagined changes. I'm excited to use the skills I've learned through this training to better help clients as they navigate change, uncertainty, and the plethora of emotions that come with any type of loss.

Heather A. Jackson, LIMHP, LPC

Did you know 1 in 5 teens struggle with a mental illness and 1 in 4 college students have a diagnosable mental health concern? I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults experiencing mental health, behavioral, and/or academic concerns. I commonly see struggles associated with depression, anxiety, bullying, trauma, suicidal ideation/self-harming behaviors, peer/family conflict, low self-esteem, anger management, truancy, delinquency, and ADHD/impulsivity. I understand that growing up is hard and enjoy walking through this often difficult phase of life with clients.

Within my practice, I place a great focus on establishing trust and rapport with my clients, as I truly believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and creating a comfortable environment. My clients have regularly described me as caring, relatable, nonjudgmental, authentic, easily relatable, and open-minded.

Please check-out my website (www.hjacksonlimhp.com) or feel free to contact me directly with any questions/concerns! My practice is also on social media, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (@hjacksonlimhp). I look forward to and welcome the opportunity to become a part of your journey!
