Feeling so very grateful for community these days. So many of us are navigating big loss, uncomfortable change and future unknowns. What I know is that calling in help and completing big leaps for a vision coming to fruition feel affirming (next phase of Arise Botanicals!) Thank you to everyone who helped with the big dig as well as the ongoing Tulsi harvest + processing.
Also pictured: Last Sunday's plant ramble was nourishing. Collaboration made it possible. Relationship with land made it sacred 🌾 I've also started up with Nature Club at Prescott Elementary again. These young ones teach me so much with their curiosity, observations and reflections.
This Sunday I'm looking forward to bringing the pop-up apothecary to for the Harvest Moon Pop-up, 12-3pm (4726 Cooper Ave, Lincoln). Pepe's Bistro and Daughter Nature will be bringing their delicious and delightful plant magic as well! See previous post for details.
Monday is both the Champion Tree Bike tour, led by Kat and Brad (see flyer on last slide). Free community bike ride to appreciate gorgeous trees right here in Lincoln (meet at Woods Park parking lot, 5pm)
Also on October 6th, I'll be teaching my Elderberry Syrup workshop at SCC Continuing Education 6:30-8pm. A perrenial favorite! There are 2 seats still available. Details on my website or register at Southeast.edu (course search under community with keyword HERB)
I've been practicing herbalism for 18 years and in business as an herbalist for 10. I'm forever learning, slow growing and planting seeds for the future, even and ESPECIALLY in uncertain times. So glad we're connected. Let's keep going 🌻
