✨ This Christmas was som**hing special — and it wouldn’t have happened without you. ✨

We are incredibly grateful for the many people who came together to make our clients’ Christmas such a success. Our employees went the extra mile to help gather donations, our community showed up with overwhelming generosity, and the families of our employees stepped in with open hearts.

A special thank you to everyone who went above and beyond by purchasing so many items from our Amazon wishlist and truly spoiling our clients. That generosity made a huge impact.

Because of all of you, our clients were able to celebrate the season in a way that was joyful, meaningful, and most importantly — safe and sober. These moments matter. They remind our clients that they are supported, valued, and surrounded by a community that believes in them.

Thank you for helping create a Christmas filled with warmth, dignity, and hope.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to Hiland Dairy.

Because of your generosity, our clients were given more than just a night out — they were given hope. An NA/AA meeting followed by a night of bowling may sound simple, but for our clients, it was som**hing much bigger: a glimpse of what life can look like in recovery.

One client quietly shared afterward:
“I didn’t know you could have this much fun sober.”

That moment stopped us in our tracks.

For many of our clients, substances were once the center of every social interaction. Safe, sober fun felt impossible, until nights like this. Nights where they laugh, connect, and feel like they belong. Nights where they start to believe, “Maybe I can do this.”

Hiland Dairy, your support helped create a memory that will stay with our clients far longer than one evening. You showed them that community matters, that joy is still accessible, and that recovery doesn’t mean isolation — it means connection.

💙 If you or your organization have ever considered sponsoring a client outing or event, this is the impact you make. You help show that a sober life can still be full, meaningful, and fun — and that no one has to walk this journey alone.

Thank you for being part of that story.

Interested in sponsoring a client outing or event? Please reach out to us at info@thebridgenebraska.org. We’d love to connect.

"And in the morning... I'm making waffles!" - Donkey (Shrek)

There’s just som**hing special about slow Sunday mornings—especially when they include clients coming together to make fresh waffles! 🥞✨ From mixing batter to flipping waffles, it’s all about connection, routine, and starting the day on a positive note.

Moments like these remind us that recovery isn’t just about treatment—it’s about building community, learning life skills, and enjoying the simple things together. 💛

💚🍩 A Sweet Surprise & Even Sweeter Hearts 🍩💚

This holiday season, we were blessed by the kindness of a young couple who generously donated donuts for both our clients & staff here at The Bridge. It may seem simple, but moments like these bring so much joy, warmth, and connection to our building.

Their thoughtfulness reminded our clients that they are cared for & supported, and it gave our staff a moment to feel appreciated during a busy season of showing up for others.

To this amazing couple, thank you for your generosity, your hearts, & for choosing to spread kindness in such a meaningful way. You truly helped make the holidays a little brighter here at The Bridge.
