Empowered Healing We offer a variety of wellness treatments including massage, sound therapy, salt therapy, and a community wellness studio.

We are a massage studio located in Historic University Place in Lincoln, Nebraska. We believe that massage should be a regular part of your wellness. We also believe that massage has many therapeutic benefits and is very beneficial for those suffering from muscle pain and specific conditions including headaches, muscle spasms, frozen shoulder, sciatica, insomnia, and high anxiety and stress levels to name a few. It is our goal to create a relaxing environment for our clients to take a moment to listen to their body's needs and feel better.

Q: What do I wear? Do I have to take my clothes off?

A: Clients can wear whatever they are comfortable with to a massage session. During your session, you will be asked to disrobe to your comfort level. Clients will be placed under a sheet. Most sessions (with the exception of lomi-lomi or ashiatsu oriental bar therapy where clients are draped less) only uncover the area of the body that is receiving bodywork. Clients also stay clothed during Sound Therapy Sessions.

Hi, I'm Jenni Hansen, Owner of Empowered Healing. It's an honor and privilege to be able to serve the community of Lincoln, NE and surrounding areas for the past 14 years as a Massage Therapist, business owner, and employer. Over the past year, I developed a repetitive strain injury and was dealing with a significant amount of pain on a daily basis. Towards the end of 2025, I knew something had to give. Some individuals may already be aware that I have taken a giant step back from massage. This was not an easy decision, as I am absolutely passionate about giving bodywork. It has been a bit of a grieving process, but going into 2026, I feel that I have made a solid decision. I will no longer be offering sessions to new clients. I will continue to work with a handful of clients on a very part time basis. Over the years, this business has grown much larger than me. I am thrilled and grateful to see the growth! I am excited to truly step into the role of Owner/Operator and wholeheartedly put my energies (if you know me, you know I have a lot of energy!) there to help support my staff by continuing to offer and develop meaningful training on a consistent basis, build community connections in the Uni Place Creative District, develop meaningful wellness opportunities in our basement studio, Eclectic Education, foster a positive culture within Empowered Healing for our clients and staff, & oversee the operations of the business. I appreciate everyone's support through the years and look forward to maybe saying hi to you if we run into each other at the studio!

We are so excited to start offering a new add on to massage services! Introducing Clark's Herbal Remedies. Clark’s Herbal Cream is a topical botanical pain relief cream made from six active all natural botanical ingredients including copaiba basalm, clary sage, ylang ylang, arnica, sweet birch, and yarrow to aid in your relaxation. Individuals experience a numbing effect and a deeper muscular relaxation. This non-narcotic, non-systemic cream is a great option for focus massage sessions.

Add to your session for an additional $15 per 60 minute massage/$25 per 90 minute massage.
