Monica Cantrell graduated from Nebraska Methodist College in 2006 as a registered nurse.

She found her passion for babies and children while working at a busy postpartum unit. Monica followed that passion and became a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 2021 from University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Monica has a passion for helping mom’s breastfeed and enjoys assisting with that journey.

Monica married her high school sweetheart, Matt, and they have three children. Monica enjoys spending time with her kids, camping, fishing, and, during a quiet moment, reading.

There’s no need to schedule ahead—just walk in!
One of our providers will see your child for fast, convenient care.

Symptoms like runny nose, sore throat, ear pain, sinus drainage, allergies, swimmer’s ear, rash/diaper rash, vomiting/diarrhea, and pink eye/eye drainage.

**For more complex or ongoing concerns, a scheduled visit with your primary care provider may be needed.

Born with a congenital heart disease, Sheffield is like the 1 in 100 babies born with congenital heart disease every day!

We celebrate him and all of our CCH kids that are Heart Heroes during Congenital Heart Disease Awareness Week!

We also remind families that this is a lifelong condition that should be followed by a cardiologist! Because Heart Heroes deserve the best care, not just when they’re kids, but when they’re adults too!
