Today was a special day at Gateway Vista! Jen, one of our residents, invited several of her close friends to join us for lunch and a presentation from our therapy department. This week’s Chinese New Year theme added a festive touch to the afternoon, making it both meaningful and memorable!

We love creating opportunities for residence to connect with friends, celebrate culture, and learn more about the services that support their strength and well-being. What a wonderful day to spend together!

Meet two of our amazing CNAs making a difference every day:

Savannah (left) – A newer member of our team, Savannah is full-time on rehab and is doing an incredible job learning all things CNA. Her dedication and eagerness to grow are truly inspiring!

Jazmine (right) – Jazmine floats between rehab and long term care, always giving 100%! Her hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and patients and residents absolutely love her. On top of all that, she’s also in school—talk about dedication!

Thank you, Savannah and Jazmine, for all that you do to make Gateway a place of care and compassion every day. 💙

Did you know a hospital stay may NOT be required to receive skilled nursing care? Through the Medicare Waiver (MSSP), some Medicare members may qualify to go directly to skilled care for recovery — without being admitted to the hospital first.

You or your loved one may be eligible if experiencing:
✅ Increased weakness in assisted living
✅ Difficulty getting to or from daily activities safely
✅ An ER visit that resulted in discharge without a hospital stay
