Happy National Occupational Therapy Month! Occupational Therapists help people regain the skills they need for everyday life—from getting dressed and preparing meals to improving balance, strength, and independence after an injury or illness. In fact, OT as a profession began in 1917, rooted in the belief that meaningful activities can promote healing and improve quality of life.

We had so much fun hosting our Easter Egg Hunt for our residents! Everyone had a great time searching for eggs, sharing laughs, and enjoying the excitement of the hunt. Four lucky winners even discovered our special Golden Eggs and took home some awesome prizes! It was a wonderful day filled with smiles, friendly competition, and plenty of Easter fun. 🐣🥚

Today was a special day at Gateway Vista! Jen, one of our residents, invited several of her close friends to join us for lunch and a presentation from our therapy department. This week’s Chinese New Year theme added a festive touch to the afternoon, making it both meaningful and memorable!
