We celebrated the season with a comforting, festive menu full of favorites and holiday cheer. Here’s what was served:

🍲 Good Ol’ Nebraska Chili
Topped with green onions and shredded cheese, served with a freshly baked cinnamon roll and warm cinnamon applesauce

🍗 Open-Faced Chicken Cordon Bleu
Roasted baby potatoes and seasoned green beans with bacon bits

🦃 Roast Turkey Dinner
Cornbread dressing, sautéed fresh zucchini, and a whole-grain roll

🍰 Texas Sheet Cake
Finished with whipped topping, chocolate drizzle, and pecan pieces

🐟 Oven-Baked Crispy Catfish
Roasted okra, homemade macaroni and cheese, and a cornbread muffin

time together. From comforting favorites to holiday desserts, every bite added to the joy of the season. ❤️

Highlights included orange chicken with rice, mixed vegetables, and an egg roll, savory beef tips with mushrooms and onions over hash browns, and crowd-pleasing appetizers like stuffed mushrooms, mini quiche, and barbecue meatballs.

The dessert table was overflowing with holiday cheer—cranberry jewel gelatin with cranberries and raspberries, peppermint chocolate cake, red velvet cake squares, lemon blueberry cheesecake bars, apple pecan bars with caramel drizzle, fruit cake (including a resident’s special recipe!), Christmas cookies, homemade fudge, dipped pretzels, and more. 🍰🍪🍫

We also enjoyed festive sips like a cranberry mocktail, making our Christmas party with the residents even more special. 🎄🍹

A wonderful celebration filled with great food, laughter, and holiday spirit!
