From Aug 1st to Sep 30th we raised funds for the Alzheimer's Association 💜 But it wasn't just any old fundraiser! We put the FUN in fundraising with a contest between the teams made up of residents and staff. Aside from being the team to raise the most money, they were competing for a prize too!

Members of Team A, Team L, and Team Z encouraged visitors, contributed personally, and even persuaded contributions to specific jars. Although some people questioned their tactics 😏 Team Z pulled it off and came through as the fundraising champs this year. 🥳

Their prizes will be distributed but in the meantime, let's thank everyone who participated whether by donating themselves, enjoying the friendly rivalry, or sharing our efforts with others.

Today, we continue our celebration with a morning visit from Senator Danielle Conrad and lunch in Germany with resident Awards. This afternoon we're enjoying snow cones from Kona Ice with a magic show and balloon animals by Happy D Klown.

Tonight we're hosting Family Fair Day @ 5:30pm. We're looking forward to playing some fair games and winning prizes!

Patriot's Day Parade in Lincoln.
Partnering up with Herostock to organize a small parade in Havelock to celebrate and honor our Military and First Responders.
In association with Havelock Manor, we are kicking off this inaugural parade on Platte Ave from N 62nd to N 65th Street. That is behind Russ's Market in Havelock. Come out and support our great community.

We had such a rockin’ good time yesterday with our glam photo shoot followed by sock hop performed with Shannon from Dancing with Shannon & Bill

Our very own Janine, Havelock Manor’s Administrator, was behind the camera for the glamour shots and we were able to capture some residents who still got some moves during the sock hop. We can’t wait to share them with you.

Today, we are looking forward to our annual fall picnic with entertainer Bert Anderson who is excited to play some tunes for our group for the first time ever!
