☕️ Drinking your morning coffee on an empty stomach?
🍳 Not eating a high protein breakfast?

It make be messing with your hormone balance. Here’s how to fix it⤵

- Drink coffee WITH or after a meal.
Instead of drinking it on an empty stomach first thing in the morning try pairing it with a balanced high-protein meal. This puts less stress on the adrenals and reduce the cortisol spike caffeine can cause.

- Have protein WITH breakfast.
Protein is satiating and reduces glucose spikes from happening. Remember, blood sugar balance is key for healthy hormones. It’s ideal to have a meal that contains protein, healthy fats, and fiber-rich carbohydrates.

Did you know kids can eat up to 3 cups of sugar on Halloween? 😳

That much sugar (plus all the artificial flavors and colors) can spike inflammation, weaken immune function, and mess with gut health.

A little indulgence is fine, but when sugar cravings turn into daily habits, that’s when problems start. Try these 3 simple steps to get your family off the sugar high and back into healthy routines.

#1. Drink plenty of water: water helps your body naturally flush some the excess sugar out of your system.

#2. Move your body: take a walk to help your body burn the sugar faster. (This will also help prevent the sugar from being stored as fat in your body.)

#3. Fill up on healthy foods. Foods that contain fiber, protein and healthy fats provide steady energy which helps your body recover faster.
