This lady continues to do great things; we are so proud of Grace! We are thankful to have her - and so are the hundreds of people in Lincoln and the surrounding area who she has enabled to safely remain home and independent in the years since founding Graceful In Home Healthcare.

In addition to Graceful, it has been a privilege watching her grow Radiant Esthetics and Wellness over the past few years all while balancing the joys of being a mom. Nina Burkey, a true embodiment of grace both at home and at work! 💖

When she’s not cheering on her four amazing kiddos at volleyball and tennis tournaments (or soaking up the outdoors whenever possible), she’s busy managing Graceful In-Home Healthcare—a non-medical home care agency dedicated to supporting all ages, from infants to seniors, in Lincoln and the surrounding areas.

Nina is the Managing Director and Co-Owner of Graceful, a position she shares with her best friend and business partner, Grace Kats. Together, they’ve created a business that not only cares for people but builds strong, lasting relationships with both providers and clients alike. What truly sets them apart is their deep commitment to advocacy for the programs that support their clients, no matter their needs.

From the heart of her family to the heart of her work, Nina shows us what it means to care, lead, and inspire every day. We are so grateful to have her as part of our community! 🌷

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We often talk about how thankful we are for both our clients and our care providers. I hope that doesn't dilute our sincerity.

Our clients, and their caregivers offer us daily examples of giving and compassion that provide us with more reasons to be thankful than we can count. Thank you all for your inspiration, love and dedication. ❤

A little over a month ago while at a clients house, we saw a lot of little baby birds under their deck. They were in a perfect line but one little guy went his own route - I loved it. With everyone sending their own little birds back to school it reminded me of that saying - "In a world where you can be anything ... be yourself".

I hope all the parents have fun seeing their littles leave the nest again after a long summer and we all take a moment to celebrate what makes them individuals.

Nebraska Home Care Association members Chuck Chase and Nina Chase with StayHome.Care and Nina Burkey with Graceful In Home Healthcare met with Congressman Mike Flood Monday, July 2, in Lincoln to request Cong. Flood's co-sponsorship of HR8114 to stop the Medicaid Access Rule from being implemented.

An update was provided on CMS' proposed 2025 rule which would implement an additional 4.06% cuts in Medicare home health reimbursement rates. Thank you to Congressman Mike Flood for his co-sponsorship of the Preserving Home Health Access Act to stop further cuts.

The Nebraska Home Care Association will continue working with Cong. Flood and his staff to address issues impacting access to home health and home care in Nebraska.
