While we are celebrating Cardiac Rehab Week through February 15th, it's important to educate and bring awareness to what Cardiac Rehabilitation is!

This insurance-based program is for individuals who have sustained a heart attack, heart related surgery like a stent placement, heart transplant and for those diagnosed with heart failure.

Cardiac Rehab supports these individuals as they work to resume regular activities and get back to feeling themselves! With a unique individualized treatment plan, monitored exercise sessions and education occur weekly.

Madonna Wellness Club's cardiac team is outstanding! Many of our patients have become members and continue to practice what they learn while in the program.

👊 Take charge of your health this year!

📈One in three American adults have prediabetes. 33% of adults is a large majority of individuals indicating that our lifestyles are the biggest contributing the factor.

📌The great part about that is, making small incremental changes can have a big impact on a person's health! Sign up Prevent T2 at Madonna Wellness Club to receive 12-months of guidance, support and ideas to keep you going.

🗓 Beginning February 24th on Tuesdays from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m..

Meet weekly for the first six months, followed by monthly meetings the latter six months. Often we have the motivation to change, but lack the skills and support to keep going when the motivation runs out. That is why this program is so fantastic!

📌The continue support in the beginning with a gradual reduction in meeting helps foster independence and empower participants that the changes are positive and sustainable.

💖 Today kicks off Cardiac Rehab Week at Madonna Wellness Club!

Be sure to stop by the information table providing helpful handouts about how to maintain or improve your heart health.

Grab a cardio challenge card to help motivate you to achieve 150 minutes of cardiovascular exercise this week in honor of cardiac rehab week.

Research has shown that 150 minutes per week is the minimum amount of cardiovascular exercise needed to maintain or improve your heart health. It can be broken up however you like! Whether that be 30 minutes 5 days a week or about 22 minutes every day of the week.

❤ Monday, February 9th kicks of Cardiac Rehab week. Madonna Wellness Club is proud to offer Cardiac Rehabilitation. ❤

This outpatient program is designed to help individuals after they experience a heart related incident, like a heart attack. It is also for those who had a heart related surgery like a stent placement, coronary artery bypass graft (open heart surgery), heart transplant as well as for those with congestive heart failure.

It is an insurance-based program that accepts individuals for 18 to 36 sessions. We often have the opportunity to work with patients for 12 weeks or more.

Cardiac Rehabilitation is primarily getting appropriate amount of exercise in while learning about how make tweaks and changes to your lifestyle that support your heart's recovery for years to come. There is weekly education, hand-outs and the opportunity to speak with educated professionals.

The team includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, exercise physiologists, health coaches and our registered dietitian. This ensures there is a well-rounded experience, supporting each patient's unique needs and goals.

Madonna Wellness Club is here to support you whether you're preventing heart related incidents or just experienced one. See you at the club!

⚠ Check out the upcoming TRX & Pilates series!

TRX and Pilates have a lot in common. Both help train or reinforce good posture, an activated core and balanced muscles. TRX is a suspension training system while Pilates can be done from the floor or a reformer. The reformer and suspension trainer are different yet have some cross-over.

This 4-week series blends the two to create a full body workout in each class!
• Get a chance to perform foundational TRX movements plus Pilates.
• Learn to identify and become more aware of correct body posture while focusing on core strength and flexibility.
• Reduce muscular imbalances and improve balance through single leg training movements.

Only $15 for members.

Every other month, Madonna Wellness Club offers Friends & Family weekends. Throughout 2026 it is offered February, April, June, August, October & December.

🏃Avid walkers and runners, check out this series!🏃🏽‍♀️

TRX is a form of suspension training, utilizing straps with handles to complete a variety of exercises and stretches. It requires utilizing core muscles with nearly every movement and can be adjusted for any fitness level.

This series specifically dives into exercises and stretches that assist those who get a lot of steps in! Whether you walk or run those steps, this series can provide some helpful information. TRX Basics course is required prior to being able to register for this.

Four week series:
February 11th - March 4th
Wednesdays 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
