Our Papillion clinic is sharing their Christmas morning traditions 🎁☕🎄 From quiet moments to joyful traditions and everything in between, these mornings are what make the season so special ❤️✨

Kristyn – We always have brunch with my family on Christmas morning and then play Wii bowling with my grandpa!

Brylee – As soon as my siblings and I wake up, we check our stockings and open presents.

Kelli – We always make sugar cookies and decorate them for Christmas!

Allison – One of our Christmas traditions is to go see the Nutcracker Ballet!

Alison – My Christmas morning tradition includes hugging my family at 12 a.m. and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas! We stay till midnight to welcome the holiday as part of our culture, so we play games and have fun to stay awake on Christmas Eve. 😊

Allissa – Our Christmas morning tradition is eating breakfast casserole!

Azia – Sitting around with family and opening up our stockings—usually enjoying some of my mom’s homemade hot cocoa!

Kerry – Our Christmas tradition is to open presents on Christmas Eve, eat soup, and stay up as late as we can playing games or cards. On Christmas Day, we sleep in, have a yummy breakfast, and open our stockings in our PJs.

Carly – My family celebrates and opens presents on Christmas Eve! Then, in the morning, we make pancakes, drink coffee, and relax for the rest of the day.

Our Lincoln clinic is sharing their Christmas morning tradition 🎅☕🎄 From sweet treats to meaningful moments and together time—Christmas morning is the best kind of chaos ❤️✨

Adam – To get up early and wait for everyone else so we can see what Santa brought all together.

Logan – We get up and make cinnamon rolls together!

Jessica – A tradition we have recently started with the kids is we get Chinese food every Christmas Day, either lunch or dinner! We look forward to it every year, especially the kids!

Kaitlyn – A Christmas tradition my husband and I have started is making pancakes Christmas morning and opening up our presents together, just the two of us (and also the cats and dog open their gifts too!).

Ethan – With my family living far away, we always do a smaller family Christmas on Christmas morning before celebrating with the rest of my family, including my grandma and cousins.

Kayla – Homemade cherry cheesecake from my mom is always a tradition for Christmas Day.

Kelsie – My family hosts cookie decorating every year. My aunt makes lots and lots of sugar cookies, and my cousins, aunts, and uncles all gather to frost and decorate. This has been an annual tradition since I was teeny tiny!

Marissa – Getting together with my whole family for cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning!

Hannah – All my siblings go to my parents’ on Christmas morning and drink hot cocoa while we watch our favorite Christmas movies!

AJ – We open one gift on Christmas Eve!

Kristal – We would get to open 1 Christmas present early on Christmas Eve. We would usually have to showcase a talent of ours (singing, playing piano or guitar) in order to open that present. Before opening all other presents on Christmas, we would read the story of the birth of Jesus.

Keila – We open our gifts in the morning on Christmas Day.

Lisa – We open our stockings and have homemade biscuits with sausage and gravy for breakfast.

Cheryl – Spending the morning with my family opening up presents and listening to Christmas music!

We’re excited to introduce Marissa, our new Administrative Assistant at the North clinic! 🌟 She’s already bringing great energy to the team.

Why were you interested in working in health care?
🪩 I wanted to work in healthcare because I genuinely enjoy helping people and making a positive impact in their daily lives. I’m a big people-person, and I find a lot of purpose in supporting others through their care and recovery.

Where are you from?
🪩 I’m from Plattsmouth, NE!

What motivated you to work with lymphedema?
🪩 I’m passionate about lymphedema care because I’ve seen firsthand how much it can impact a person’s daily life—my dad has lymphedema, so I understand the challenges that patients face.

Tell me something interesting about yourself that many people may not know.
🪩 My favorite animal is a goat!

What is your favorite part about your job?
🪩 My favorite part of my job is the people. I love creating and strengthening relationships with the patients and my coworkers.

If you could visit anywhere in the world in any season, where would it be and which season?
🪩 I would visit Bora Bora in the winter so that I could get out of the cold!

What are your top professional goals you want to complete in the upcoming years?
🪩 I would like to expand my knowledge of insurance and scheduling to become a stronger asset to the team. I would also like to build a deeper understanding of lymphedema as a whole, as well as our treatment plans and processes, so I can better answer patient questions.
