𝓦𝓱𝓪𝓽 𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓱𝓮 “𝓛𝓲𝓽𝓽𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓐𝓷𝓰𝓮𝓵𝓼 𝓟𝓻𝓸𝓳𝓮𝓬𝓽”?
During 1870 and 1920 approximately 2,850 infants and children have been buried as Littlest Angels. Of this number, 699 are known as ‘infant of’ or ‘baby girl or boy’ leaving 2,151 named with no headstone. A number on a concrete circle marks their grave. Headstones are being purchased for these children with donations to Wyuka Historical Foundation restricted to the ‘Littlest Angels Project’. We have recently added other children through 1972.

Any flowers that can't be placed in the permanent vases attached to the headstones are carefully collected. Rather than being discarded, our dedicated volunteers take the extra step to clean and recycle these flowers. In furtherance of our sustainability efforts, the Wyuka Historical Foundation is proud to host an event at the Wyuka Stables, featuring a vast collection of recycled artificial flowers. This event offers an opportunity to procure flowers for diverse occasions, including but not limited to Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Weddings, Crafts, Graduation Parties, and Home Décor.

*The tables are restocked with flowers each day of the sale.

Shawn Thomas Hicks, 59, passed away on February 7, 2026, in Omaha, NE. He was born on August 11, 1966, in Marietta, GA to Andrea Rose and Thomas Edward Hicks. The mural tiles are cleaned and right side up. This photo shows the Bronco figure located in the middle of the mural. The mural gaps are perfect and the tiles are covered with clear tactile paper to hold them in place. Beginning in late March or April (depending on when Spring weather arrives) the tiles will be transported to Wyuka Park where installation will begin.
