The mural tiles are cleaned and right side up. This photo shows the Bronco figure located in the middle of the mural. The mural gaps are perfect and the tiles are covered with clear tactile paper to hold them in place. Beginning in late March or April (depending on when Spring weather arrives) the tiles will be transported to Wyuka Park where installation will begin.

We are saddened to share that Wyuka recently experienced significant theft and vandalism, including the removal of the bronze bust of former Governor Albinus Nance, the theft of several informational plaques, and damage to numerous bronze vases throughout the cemetery. These pieces not only hold historic value, but also help us honor and share the stories of those memorialized here. If you have any information that may assist the investigation, please contact Lincoln Police or Crime Stoppers.
