Happy Occupational Therapy Month!!!
This month we recognize and celebrate the important role Occupational Therapy plays in improving the lives of our patients.
Occupational Therapy (OT) is an allied health profession focused on helping individuals develop, recover, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. Through individualized assessment and treatment, OT supports patients in restoring function, reducing pain, and enhancing overall quality of life.
We would like to extend a special thank you to our Occupational Therapist, Melissa Cromer, for her dedication, clinical expertise, and commitment to patient care.
At our Fairbury and Beatrice clinics, Occupational Therapy services focus on conditions affecting the elbow, hand, wrist, and fingers. This includes a wide range of diagnoses, from carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow to more complex cases such as rehabilitation following flexor tendon repair.
We also provide care for patients with neurological and movement-related conditions, including post-CVA (stroke), spinal cord injuries (SCI), and other movement disorders.
Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan designed to decrease pain, improve function, prepare for surgery, or support post-operative recovery.
We are proud to serve our communities and support our patients in returning to the activities that matter most.
