I get in my truck this morning and before I back out of the driveway, I utter these words, “Thank you for this home. Thank you for this house.” Not an earth-shattering prayer or nothing I have not done before but then…My attention was drawn to the numbers and I hear (not audibly) – Psalm 27:3-4.
Still sitting in my truck, I look it up and just smile. God is that close. If He meets me….trust me, He will meet you too - in the driveway or drive-thru, a mountain or valley, at a church or at a bar or the road you are avoiding Him on. The point…He is not hiding. We just need to look and listen.

Verse 3: What enemy? What army? For me (and many of us) – we do not have a physical enemy but we have real enemies of fear, anxiety, distraction, hurried lifestyle, etc…Put those together and an army gets encamped around us real quick.
Our choice is to, as David, say, “Yet, I will not fear and be confident…”

Verse 4: What am I seeking after? To dwell in safety & peace during my day. To gaze in wonder at His goodness. To dwell and to gaze….that’s it!

How does this relate to chiropractic? I am glad you asked. Our thoughts affect not only our spiritual lives but our physical lives as well. My morning, b/c I took time to be thankful, allowed my body to be less tense and my spirit to be ‘more awake.’ You see, this mental dance can & often changes muscle tone & postural alignment. That can lead to pain, headaches and a host of other issues.
Get adjusted and watch your thought life. Both matter!
