It was a joyous moment for Casey and Brian Wadas when they learned Casey was pregnant. After years of intrauterine insemination and invitro fertilization treatments, the couple were finally achieving their dream of starting a family.

Unfortunately, the couple's obstacles were just beginning. Their son Abe was born early and spent months in the NICU, including at Bryan.

Sometimes the best way to clear your mind is to get moving.

Exercise supports both physical and mental health by allowing your body to release feel-good chemicals, reduce stress and relax built-up tension. It can also help you sleep better and feel more balanced throughout the day.

Start small and choose something you enjoy. It all adds up.

Congratulations to Stephen Forro, DO for receiving the Care Like Crazy Award!

A patient shared these kind words about Stephen.
"I was in a car accident and was transferred here from Grand Island with a broken arm and dislocated hip. On my fractured arm, I have a memorial tattoo of my daughter who died of DIPG brain cancer at age 14. Dr. Farro performed my surgery and knew how important this tattoo is to me. He was very careful when repairing my arm to make sure the tattoo stayed intact. He has been the sweetest, kindest doctor, and has a genuine kind spirit! He is definitely the light in a dark room. I met a lot of doctors during my daughter’s cancer journey and Dr. Forro just really stands out as someone who really cares!"

Stephen, thank you for the care you provide daily to your patients. You make a difference in the lives of others. We are honored that you are part of the Bryan Medical Staff.

🩷 Meet our newest Milestone Achiever, Aleah! 🩷
Born prematurely, Aleah spent her first 102 days in the Bryan NICU. She started physical and occupational therapy at just 13 months old. At the time, sitting independently and eating textured foods were big challenges.

Today, this spunky 2-year-old is walking, climbing stairs, building her balance and eating all age appropriate foods. She loves riding her red scooter, drawing and working toward her favorite reward – snacks! 🍎

Way to go, Aleah! 🌟
