Over 1 in 9 Nebraskans struggle with food insecurity — and the impact goes far beyond hunger. Limited access to nutritious food is directly linked to increased rates of chronic illness, anxiety, and depression. Food is healthcare. 💚

As Nebraska PAs and PA students, we’re stepping up to support our community. We’ve partnered with the Food Bank for the Heartland, and every dollar donated goes directly to feeding families across the state.

✨ $25 = 75 meals

Today, we got to hear from the Director of Medicare and Deputy Administrator of CMS, learn from amazing leaders within AAPA, and gain new ideas and resources to further advocacy in Nebraska, as PA-Cs and as PA students. We got to finish off the conference with some sight seeing!
