No one likes to wait, but more than 600,000 people across the U.S. with intellectual and developmental disabilities have no other choice.

Waiting lists for Medicaid funding for home- and community-based services are not a new issue. But, as some states have eliminated them—or are working to do so—new challenges may be on the horizon with federal funding cuts looming.

Learn more about waiting lists, why they exist and how you can take action in our latest blog.

At Mosaic, one of our core values is faithfulness. We honor our legacy by staying grounded in what matters and doing the right thing even when no one’s looking. Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as we continue his work through our mission to relentlessly pursue opportunities that empower people – all people.

What does a "good life" look like? The answer is always personal.

That’s why Mosaic provides personalized services tailored to each person’s specific dreams and goals. For Craig, a good life means a deep friendship with his Home Provider and the simple joy of staying connected through his church and weekly bingo games.

What does a good life look like to you? Share your thoughts in the comments!

Christmas Eve is often a hubbub of activity with family and friends. Those celebrations highlight the hope and joy the holiday brings. We wish all a joyous celebration that reflects the love brought into the world with the birth of Jesus more than 2,000 years ago.

Living a life of possibilities looks different to everyone, and at Mosaic, we honor that difference.

In our newest issue of Promise magazine, you’ll learn how Mosaic’s approach to personalized services improves lives and enables people to achieve their personal goals and ambitions.

The issue also recaps the recent Martin Luther Home Centennial Celebration, introduces new Mosaic Board and Foundation Board members and celebrates the recipients of our Partners in Possibilities and Advocacy awards.

We had such a wonderful time at Southwood Lutheran Church this morning for our holiday mix and mingle! Gingerbread houses, craft nativity scenes, and ample snacks helped all of us get into the holiday spirit through fellowship together.
