There are conversations most people never have.

Not because they don’t matter…
but because they don’t feel safe, or they don’t know where to start.

I’ve seen how much this impacts people—marriages that feel distant, individuals who feel confused or disconnected, couples who love each other but don’t know how to get back to that place of closeness.

This retreat was created to give people a space for that.

The Intimate Connections Retreat is a 5-day, in-person experience where those conversations can finally happen—in a way that feels respectful, grounded, and actually helpful.

It’s not awkward. It’s not surface-level.
It’s honest, educational, and deeply meaningful.

We’re keeping it small on purpose—just 50 in-person guests—so it stays personal.

And for those who can’t travel, there will be a virtual option available, too.

If this has been sitting in the back of your mind… it might be time to stop putting it off.

Some minds don’t slow down easily.

A conversation from earlier keeps replaying.
A decision gets analyzed from every angle.
A small moment turns into ten different what-ifs.

Overthinking can feel productive at first, like you’re trying to get it right. But over time, it can become exhausting. It pulls you out of the present and into a loop that never really resolves.

What many people don’t realize is that overthinking is not just a mindset. It’s often connected to a nervous system that’s trying to stay alert, prepared, and in control.

It makes sense.
Even if it feels overwhelming.

If your mind has been running nonstop, you’re not alone. Slowing down isn’t about forcing your thoughts to stop. It often begins with creating small moments where your body can feel calm again.

Some people don’t feel overwhelmed.
They feel… nothing.

No excitement.
No deep sadness.
Just a quiet sense of disconnection.

It can feel like going through the motions without really being present in your own life.

That experience is more common than people realize.

Emotional numbness is often the nervous system’s way of protecting you after stress, burnout, or emotional overload. It is not a lack of effort. It is not something you chose.

And it does not have to stay that way.

LETS TALK ABOUT S*X!

Ever wish your “wellness routine” felt a little more… exciting? 😏

Good news—science says your s*x life might be one of the most underrated forms of self-care out there.

We’re talking:
✨ Boosted immune system
✨ Better heart health
✨ Deeper, more restful sleep
✨ Reduced stress, anxiety, and even depression
Not exactly what comes to mind when you think “doctor’s orders”… but maybe it should be 😉

That’s exactly why we created the Intimate Connection Retreat—a 5-day experience designed to help you explore the physiology and psychology of intimacy in a way that’s approachable, educational, and yes… even a little fun.
Join us June 15th–19th at the beautiful Arbor Day Lodge, hosted by Aceso Total Health.

Over five days, you’ll experience:
Engaging classroom sessions and workshops with Dr. Todd Roberts
Techniques to increase pleasure and emotional connection
Tools to communicate needs and boundaries with confidence
Mindfulness practices to help you integrate what you learn
Time to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature + spa amenities at Lied Lodge & Conference Center

Whether you come as a couple or an individual, this retreat is about deepening your connection—to yourself and others—in a supportive, welcoming space.
Because taking care of your health doesn’t always have to look like green smoothies and early bedtimes… sometimes it looks like connection, curiosity, and maybe even a little laughter along the way 💕

You care about your relationship.

You notice when something feels off… even if you can’t fully explain it.

Intimacy changes over time.
Stress, hormones, communication, life transitions—it all plays a role.

And most people were never taught how to navigate that.

The Intimate Connections Retreat was created to bring clarity to those conversations—

Whether you attend on your own or with your partner, you’ll gain practical tools, deeper understanding, and a new level of confidence in how you approach intimacy.

He’s the one everyone relies on.

The steady one. The provider. The one who keeps going no matter what.

He handles the stress. Pushes through the exhaustion. Carries the weight without saying much about it.

But even strong people have limits.

Over time, the pressure builds. Energy fades. Motivation drops. Life starts to feel more like something to manage than something to enjoy.

Not because he’s weak—
but because he’s been strong for too long without a place to set things down.

Mental health doesn’t discriminate.
And strength doesn’t mean going without support.

Sometimes real strength looks like acknowledging something feels off… and being willing to do something about it.

There’s no shame in wanting to feel better.

The brain doesn’t change overnight.

It changes through repetition.

The thoughts you practice, the reactions you repeat, and the patterns you reinforce all shape how your brain responds over time.

That’s why small shifts matter.

Not perfect thinking.
Not forcing positivity.
Just noticing, pausing, and choosing something slightly different—again and again.

This is how change begins.

The first day of spring is a quiet reminder that things can change.

After long seasons of cold, stillness, and waiting… something begins to shift. Not all at once, but slowly. Light lingers a little longer. The air softens. Growth begins beneath the surface before it’s ever fully seen.

There are seasons where everything feels heavy. Where progress feels invisible. Where it seems like nothing is changing.

But that doesn’t mean growth isn’t happening.

Spring invites small, simple shifts:

Step outside and feel the sun on your face, even for a few minutes.
Take a slow walk without your phone.
Notice the trees starting to bud, the grass turning green.
Pick a few flowers and bring them inside.
Pause, breathe, and let yourself be present in the moment you’re in.

These aren’t big changes.
But they gently remind the mind and body that something new is beginning.

Sometimes healing is quiet.
Sometimes it’s slow.
Sometimes it looks like choosing to step outside, take a breath, and stay a little more present than yesterday.

Spring doesn’t rush.
And neither does real change.

The mind rarely gets a real break anymore.

Between work, family, responsibilities, and the constant noise of notifications, many people move through their days carrying tension they barely notice—until exhaustion, overwhelm, or anxiety start showing up.

The truth is, the brain and nervous system need small pauses to reset.

Not dramatic life changes.
Not perfect routines.
Just simple moments that allow the mind to slow down and breathe again.

Small habits like stepping away from screens, slowing your breathing, reflecting for a few quiet minutes, or writing thoughts down can create space where clarity and calm begin to return.

These practices may seem simple, but repeated over time they can make a powerful difference in how the mind and body respond to stress.

Sometimes the most meaningful reset starts with something small.

Pain is not always visible.

Someone may go to work, care for their family, laugh with friends, and still carry pain that most people never see.

Chronic pain can slowly affect sleep, energy, mood, and motivation. Over time, many people begin to feel worn down both physically and emotionally.

Understanding how the brain and body process pain can help people realize they are not imagining what they feel. Chronic pain is real, and it affects millions of people every day.

And just like any health challenge, support and understanding matter.

Sometimes people wonder why they still feel tense, anxious, or on edge… even when life around them is calm.

It’s not weakness.
And it’s not something someone can simply “snap out of.”

Trauma can change how the brain and nervous system respond to everyday situations. The brain’s job is to protect us. After difficult experiences, it can stay in survival mode long after the danger has passed.

That might show up as feeling constantly alert, struggling to relax, trouble sleeping, or reacting strongly to things that once felt normal.

Understanding how trauma affects the brain can help people make sense of what they’re feeling — and remind them that healing is possible.
