ABLED provides home and community-based services for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Lincoln and Southeast Nebraska. The mission of ABLED is to empower people with intellectual disabilities to creatively explore all possible avenues of freedom, education, and skills to live and enjoy their lives to the fullest extent possible. Servicing developmentally disabled individuals in southeast Nebraska, including the following communities of Lincoln, Tecumseh, Nebraska City, Auburn, Beatrice, Wahoo and Seward.

Andrew left us in 2012, but the impact he made on the people around him is only getting more powerful.
ABLED was started because of Andrew — because of his story, his strength, and the way he inspired others to see ability, dignity, and potential in every person.
His life became the spark that lit a mission: to uplift, support, and advocate for those whose voices deserve to be heard.
Though he is no longer here with us, his influence lives on in every action ABLED takes, every person we support, and every life we touch.
