Being told a test result is “abnormal”… and then immediately hearing “don’t worry about it” can leave people stuck in the middle.
Because if it’s abnormal, it’s natural to ask:
What does that mean?
Why was the test done?
Does it matter for me?
Tests should have a purpose. And if the result raises questions, someone should help explain what it means — or connect you with someone who can.
Good healthcare isn’t just running tests. It’s helping people understand what’s happening in their own bodies.
And if something about your health doesn’t make sense to you, you’re allowed to ask more questions. It’s your body.
