This week, our South County Tween group worked together with Ms. Kristy and Ms. Hillery to create a Giving Tree, made entirely out of recycled paper bags! ๐Ÿ‚ The activity focused on teamwork, creativity, and gratitude, reminding us that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
Weโ€™re using our Giving Tree to collect donations for our local food drive ๐Ÿฅซ๐Ÿ’› Every item helps feed neighbors in need and spreads a little extra warmth this season.

If youโ€™d like to contribute, feel free to drop off non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, or peanut butter in our donation box. Together, we can make our community a little brighter! ๐ŸŒŸ

๐Ÿ’ญ When a child โ€œacts out,โ€ itโ€™s easy to assume theyโ€™re doing it on purpose
But all behavior is communication โ€” it tells us whatโ€™s happening beneath the surface. This doesn't mean we don't set limits on the behavior but it does mean we set those limits with compassion and understanding.

Instead of asking โ€œWhatโ€™s wrong with this child?โ€ try asking,
๐Ÿ‘‰ โ€œWhat is this behavior trying to tell me?โ€

Every behavior is a message โ€” we just have to learn how to listen. ๐Ÿ’ซ
