KPG Top 8 Capsule: Brody Shearer, Lincoln, OL/DL, 6-2, 270
Brody Shearer capped a three-year starting career at Lincoln with one of the most productive senior seasons by a lineman in the state, playing a key role on both sides of the ball for a Leopard team that finished 11-2 and advanced to the 8-Man Division I state championship game, winning the program's first ever playoff games in the process.
Shearer anchored the offensive line for a Lincoln offense that consistently controlled games throughout the season. The unit was held under 44 points only once all year, reflecting the line’s ability to create space and sustain drives while protecting explosive junior quarterback Jeremiah Miller.
On defense, Shearer totaled 88 tackles (32 solo, 56 assisted) in his senior year, including 16 tackles for loss with five sacks. He also forced two fumbles and recovered two, providing consistent backfield pressure and run-stopping presence from the line.
Over three varsity seasons, Shearer accumulated 213 total tackles, 41 tackles for loss, and 14 sacks.
Following graduation, Shearer plans to continue his football career at Friends University.
