Welcome to Move Studio Pilates & Fitness, where function and form create power and strength. Move Studio Pilates & Fitness is a full service boutique fitness studio that provides a premier fitness experience in a private one on one or small group setting. Our individual and small group Pilates reformer, TRX and cardio/strength programs are designed to improve coordination and strength, while lengthening and rebalancing the body in a functional way. Move Studio is committed to teaching and training clients how to achieve greater strength, endurance and power through our proven training techniques. We aim to inspire greatness in each and every one of our clients. The goal of the Move Studio Pilates reformer program is to establish a stable central core around which all movement takes place using the basic principles created by Joseph Pilates himself. Some of these principles include concentration, centering, flowing movement, and breath. During your Pilates reformer class, many of the deeper muscles of the body work simultaneously, creating length, improving coordination and achieving efficient, graceful movement. Each exercise has a prescribed placement, rhythm, and breathing pattern. Breathing assists in directing energy to vital areas while relaxing the rest of the body. What are the benefits of Pilates?
