We were thrilled to participate in yesterday's campus-wide Staff vs. Residents Seated Volleyball Tournament! The energy in the room was off the charts! Everyone brought their A-game, and the cheering section made sure every serve and spike was met with BIG applause. 🔥

The competition was fierce, the laughter was nonstop, and the sportsmanship on both sides made the event special. Our community is truly full of connection, joy, and a whole lot of team spirit. 🙌

Thank you to everyone who played, cheered, and helped make the game such a success. We’re already hearing talk of a rematch… stay tuned! 😉

📚 Yesterday filled us with such gratitude as our residents spent a wonderful morning surrounded by stories, conversation, and laughter.

Watching them share memories sparked by their favorite books was a beautiful reminder of the joy that comes from lifelong learning and connection.

At Radford Green, we’re especially proud to have several published authors among our residents, storytellers whose words continue to inspire us all. It’s a privilege to serve and walk alongside such remarkable individuals. ❤️

This week, our nursing team came together for two meaningful days of learning during our Annual Competencies Training.

It was inspiring to see everyone fully engaged, sharing knowledge, supporting one another, and strengthening the skills that make such a difference in the lives of our residents.
We are deeply grateful for our nurses and their unwavering dedication to those we serve each and every day. 💛

Our team had a spooktacular time continuing the Halloween festivities today! Staff members went all out with creative costumes, from classic witches to funny, festive getups, and brought smiles to everyone throughout the community. 🍬

Each floor was filled with fun and laughter as residents joined in themed activities, games, and sweet treats. The highlight of the day? Our Halloween Costume Parade in the afternoon, where everyone showed off their costumes in style!

We’re so thankful for our amazing team for spreading joy and holiday spirit, and for our residents, who make every celebration so special. 💛

It’s that gourd-geous time of year again and we are celebrating today with our annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest! 🧡

Our talented staff have outdone themselves, turning ordinary pumpkins into extraordinary works of art, from spooky and silly to sparkly and sweet! 🎨

Today, the spotlight’s on our amazing residents, who are casting their votes for their favorite festive creation. The competition is pumpkin spice and everything nice, and we can’t wait to see which pumpkin takes home the crown (or maybe the stem?)! 🎃

Some moments remind us just how strong the human spirit can be. Recently, during a creative activity, one of our beloved residents shared a beautiful experience with her sister. As they colored together, she began using her non-dominant hand, an expression of her creativity and determination.

Our staff watched in awe as she worked with such precision and joy, her smile growing with every stroke. It was more than just coloring, it was a celebration of her spirit and perseverance.

Moments like these fill our hearts and remind us why we love what we do. We are so proud of her and grateful to share in these special moments that brighten each day. 💕

This week, our community came together for an evening full of laughter, prizes, and purpose, and it was a huge success! We had over 90 residents join in the fun, and thanks to their incredible generosity, we raised more than $1,300 for the Alzheimer's Association💜

It was amazing to see everyone enjoying themselves while supporting such an important cause. A big thank you to all who participated, donated, and helped make this event so special.

Today was a truly special day at our community as we hosted our Mini-Walk to End Alzheimer’s! With every step, our residents, staff, and guests came together in support of the fight to end Alzheimer’s. Together, we continued to raise funds and awareness for the 2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s.

Before and after the walk, attendees enjoyed refreshments, raffle prizes, and plenty of laughter and connection.
