Honoring Our Heroes This Veterans Day

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served our nation with courage, dedication, and sacrifice. We are deeply grateful for the freedoms we enjoy because of their service and commitment.
To our residents, team members, families, and community partners who have worn the uniform — thank you. Your strength and selflessness inspire us every day to serve others with compassion and integrity.
This Veterans Day, we proudly stand with you and salute all who have answered the call of duty.

Happy Memorable Moment Monday!

The Admissions team, Brittani (Director) and Makayla (Coordinator) had a very busy day, recently attended the Lincoln County Well-O-Ween event, where they set up a booth and handed out fun merchandise to local seniors. Their enthusiasm and creativity stood out, earning them a prize for Best Dressed at the event! It was a great opportunity to connect with the community while celebrating the Halloween spirit.

Next, they participated in a pumpkin decorating contest, where they crafted a unique “cauldron with witches’ feet” design. The project was a hit and a ton of fun to make! They enjoyed seeing everyone’s creativity on display, here are some photos of the other fantastic contenders who joined in on the seasonal festivities.

To round out their Halloween celebrations, Brittani and Makayla attended a Trunk or Treat event at Morningside Assisted Living Center. They handed out candy to the residents’ grandkids, staff members’ children, and local community kids. It was a heartwarming event that brought together multiple generations for a night full of smiles, laughter, and spooky fun!

Happy Family Friday!

Our Activity Team transformed the dining room into a festive Halloween lounge for a special Spooky Mocktail Hour! Residents and staff were treated to three themed mocktails — Witch’s Brew, a sweet and tangy lime punch; Vampire’s Blood Fizz, a sparkling cranberry delight; and Pumpkin Patch Cooler, a refreshing orange and vanilla mix. Each table featured printed mocktail menus, Halloween décor, and spooky tunes that set the perfect atmosphere. Laughter and conversation filled the room as residents sampled each drink, compared favorites, and enjoyed a relaxing afternoon together. It was the perfect way to celebrate the Halloween spirit and bring everyone together for some festive fun only at lincolnton rehabilitation center.

Happy Memorable Moment Monday!

Our residents had a wonderful time getting creative with pumpkin decorating, coordinated by our Activity Department! 🎃 For many, it brought back fond memories of fall traditions, while others experienced decorating a pumpkin for the very first time. The smiles and laughter made it a truly special day!

Happy Family Friday!

Our annual Fall Festival was a great success this year. Our residents were actively involved in this enjoyable event, distributing candy and engaging in games with the children. We provided pizza and hot chocolate to the families and children from our community. The community participated in voting for the pumpkins crafted by our residents. Our local DJ provided wonderful music, and we organized a costume contest for the children and decorated car trunks.

We also conducted a candy donation contest among our staff, collecting an impressive 764 lbs of candy. Congratulations to Group 4, the Candy Corn Commanders, for their generous donation of 353 lbs of candy.
