❤️ Meet the Team Behind Our Heart Failure Certification ❤️

Earlier this month, we proudly announced that we earned the American Heart Association’s Skilled Nursing Facility Heart Failure Certification — a recognition of our commitment to high-quality, evidence-based cardiac care.

Today, we’re excited to introduce the team behind that achievement. Our interdisciplinary cardiac team works together every day to support patients recovering from heart failure and other cardiac conditions. From physicians and nurses to therapists, respiratory specialists, dietitians, and social workers, each discipline plays an important role in helping patients regain strength, build confidence, and safely transition back home.

This certification represents more than a milestone — it reflects the dedication, collaboration, and expertise of the people caring for our patients every single day.

March is National Social Work Month — and at AristaCare, that means taking a moment to celebrate the teammates who make every transition smoother, every family feel supported, and every resident feel truly cared for. ♥️

Today we proudly celebrate an incredible milestone for Lonza Halsey, who has devoted more than 25 years of service as a Dietary Aide at AristaCare at Parkside.

For decades, Lonza has done far more than serve meals. Through his kindness, consistency, and hard work, he has helped create a warm and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. Every tray delivered, every friendly interaction, and every moment of care has made a lasting impact on the people we serve.

🍓📚 Oh the Fun We Had! 📚🍌

We celebrated Dr. Seuss Day in the most Seuss-tastic way!

Our recreation team brought the magic to life — dressed as Thing One and Thing Two — while our Director of Recreation went all in as Dr. Seuss himself! 🎩✨ The smiles were just as big as the hats.

Residents enjoyed a sweet treat of strawberries and bananas (because who doesn’t love a little red and white fun? 😉), and the whole building felt like it jumped right out of a storybook.

From silly costumes to simple moments shared together, it’s days like this that remind us how important joy and creativity are at every age.

As Black History Month comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect — and to celebrate. ❤️🖤💚

Throughout February, we honored the history, culture, resilience, and achievements that have shaped our communities and our country. From meaningful conversations to special activities with our residents and staff, it was a month filled with learning, pride, and connection.

At AristaCare at Parkside, diversity isn’t something we recognize for just one month — it’s something we live every day. We are proud of the residents we serve, the families who trust us, and the team members who bring their stories, traditions, and heritage into our building.
