To the Progressive Activists / Socialists / Communists / Anarchists /Libertarians,et al
You hold the moral and intellectual high ground, but you are so divided (see your title) you are simply a pawn in the left/right paradigm. They use shifting media coverage to determine who's going to win elections. Before it was Anonymous, Occupy and anti-police. Now the police are getting acquitted, blocking traffic is being made akin to terrorism, etc. You are weak in numbers which means you require solidarity and direction. You have two choices when it comes to the socio-political world which is infiltrate it or circumvent it. I suggest doing both at the same time. Recruit young people who are honestly engaged in your causes, and talk to them about being politicians, attorneys, etc. Also, work with like-minded folks to create a social system that increases the standard of living for every single person in it and therefore does not require a centralized government or the threat of force to run it. This will mean looking for reasons to connect over philosophy, as opposed to arguing about implementation (especially since you don't have the political power to implement much yet).
