The Nervous System provides the critical framework on which children's health is built. The foundation of it all. So, when this system becomes imbalanced and dysregulated, the ripple effects can be wide-reaching.
Common red flags of an overloaded Nervous System include:
🚩 Disrupted sleep patterns
🚩 Digestive distress and bowel issues
🚩 Frequent illnesses and allergies
🚩 Sensory processing difficulties
🚩 Emotional outbursts and hyperactivity
🚩 Developmental delays or regressions
An adaptable, well-integrated Nervous System is the foundation for all other systems to work how they are supposed to within the body. When this central processing unit functions smoothly, children reap far more benefits from other health-supportive efforts. BUT the Nervous System has to be first! 🧠
