🌟 Nurse Recognition Spotlight: Morgan 🌟
We are incredibly proud to share that Morgan was nominated for BrightStar’s Nurse of the Year! While he didn’t take home the national title, he is — and always will be — #1 in our hearts. 💙
When Morgan isn’t coaching football or working his primary job on the cardiac unit, he’s here at BrightStar touching the hearts and lives of the patients and families he serves.
Recently, one of our patient’s mothers shared a message that perfectly captures the extraordinary nurse Morgan is:
“Morgan is so kind, thoughtful, accommodating, and has a great personality. He has been nothing but caring toward our little girl.
Morgan and Parker have built such an extraordinary relationship. They bond over snacks, and she’s always excited to get him a snack for when he comes. She hates infusions, but she is always relaxed with him.
As a parent, it’s hard watching your child go through traumatic experiences, but Morgan has always gone above and beyond for her. We’ve had other nurses and hospital visits that weren’t the best, but Morgan is always making her laugh, smile, and joke.
I am truly grateful for everything Morgan has done and continues to do for my little girl. It has made our situation easier, and we know she is getting the best care she could ever receive with Morgan.”
Morgan, thank you for your heart, your patience, your humor, and your dedication. You embody everything nursing should be — compassionate, empowering, and deeply human.
