Muscle of the Month
✨ December + January Feature ✨
THE CALVES
(Gastrocnemius + Soleus)
Often overlooked, always working.
The calves support every step forward—movement, balance, and circulation.
The deeper soleus is even known as the “second heart,” helping blood return upward and supporting the body in quiet, constant ways.
When the calves are tight, it’s not always about flexibility.
The calves are often associated with:
• Survival mode
• Carrying responsibility
• Feeling “on the go” with no rest
• Difficulty slowing down
They help propel us forward—sometimes before we’re ready.
Slow down.
Breathe.
Support the muscles that carry you every day.
