Sacred Touch Massage and Intuitive Healing

Sacred Touch Massage and Intuitive Healing Providing both Intuitive Massage and Hands-on Healing sessions since 1998, the mission of my work is And what a life changer that appointment turned out to be!

My interest in massage therapy was sparked in 1991 after I sustained a work-related injury to my lower back. When prescription medications failed to alleviate the pain, much less heal its source, surgery was recommended which I refused. Instead, at a friend’s suggestion, I decided to seek help from a holistic chiropractor who recommended I receive massage as part of my treatment plan. I remember at the time being completely skeptical of any possible benefits, but I was in so much pain and experiencing such limited mobility at that point that I was desperate for relief and so I scheduled an appointment. I remember feeling so much relief, relaxation, and such a sense of peace upon getting off the table that I immediately told the therapist that I HAD to learn how to do what she did so I could in turn offer this incredible healing gift to others! I didn’t know how it was going to happen. I just knew that somehow, someday, I would become a massage therapist. And over the next several years, my life gradually and steadily led me in that direction. In 1993 I completed a psychic development course taught by well-known Psychic, Healer, Teacher, and Author Echo Bodine, which provided me with the knowledge and empowerment necessary to begin consciously developing my inherent psychic and healing abilities, of which I’d been aware since age 2. Echo was the first person I’d ever met who could accurately describe my experiences, give names to and explain my abilities, and help me understand and accept that they truly are Divine gifts. I had no idea while taking her classes that I would later be using so much of what I learned there in my current Massage and Healing practice. The intuitive integration of my psychic and healing gifts with my skilled massage techniques has become the signature of my work. I also offer these gifts in my Intuitive Healing and Intuitive Guidance sessions. In 1996 I was finally ready to begin actively pursuing my desire to become a massage therapist. After many phone calls, lots of footwork, and seemingly endless closed doors, I was ready to let go of my dream when I was led to apply for and ultimately awarded a scholarship that would pay for most of my schooling. Upon the completion of my courses in March of 1998, I became certified as a massage practitioner through the Minneapolis School of Massage and Bodywork. Since my certification 24 years ago I have practiced out of my home office, primarily catering to female clientele. I hold myself to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in my work, and I pride myself in providing a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment to which women of all ages may retreat and focus on themselves. In addition to my certification, over the last 30+ years I have actively taken up the personal study of many aspects of holistic health and healing, and have a working knowledge of herbs, essential oils, homeopathy, and nutrition. I am also connected to a network of fellow practitioners in these various fields of practice to whom I feel comfortable referring my clients when the need arises. The mission of my work is to encourage and nurture wellness of Body, Mind, and Spirit. It’s not only my passion, but I believe it is my purpose for being here in this lifetime, to assist people to achieve true balance in their lives. Through each of you I continue to learn so much! My work is not only my joy, it is also my honor to serve every person who walks through my door. I am so grateful, and SO BLESSED to be a part of so many amazing journeys!!! Miigwetch!!! Hello all,

It's hard to believe we're already in November, and the end of 2025 is right around the corner. What a year it's been! And it's not over yet......

For those of you who haven't heard yet, I recently finally scheduled an appointment with an Orthopedist for what I believed to be a low back issue due to a really old injury that was affecting my left hip, only to find out that my spine is in great shape, and it's actually my hip that's the problem! I have end stage osteoarthritis in my left hip, which means I have no cartilage left at all, it's bone on bone. This explains the steadily increasing discomfort and steadily decreasing mobility I've been experiencing over the last year, and why I'm no longer able to take my 3 mile/day walks with Stormy or see more than one client per day! After doing some backtracking, I realize that I've actually been nursing my hip more and more over the last 3 years! The low back pain I'm now experiencing, which is what ultimately got me to finally make an appointment to figure out what's going on, is actually due to how many muscles are now involved in continually attempting to stabilize my hip. So, after talking this over with the doctor, my family, and a few trusted friends, I've made the decision to have hip replacement surgery. I'm scheduled in December shortly before Christmas, and will be unable to do Massage for 3 months afterward.

I do, however, hope to be available for Intuitive Guidance phone sessions starting the first full week of January, and the times for those sessions are always extremely flexible. I'll verify this once I'm recovering and get a good feel for what I'm able to handle. Keep an eye on Facebook for updates on that after the holidays.

In the meantime, I have reduced my schedule to one client per day, and have found I really need to honor that. This means my schedule fills up a lot faster and I'm booked farther out, and I don't have many days left open before my surgery on Dec 19th. Here are the dates I have left:

Monday 11/17 at 9:30am

Monday 12/01 at 10:30am (or later if needed)
Tuesday 12/02 at 10:30am (or later if needed)
Friday 12/05 at 10:30am (or later if needed)

Monday 12/15 at 10:30am

My surgery is scheduled for Friday, Dec 19th, and I will be off through the 3rd week of March. If anything changes, I'll be sure to send out an update to let everyone know.

I deeply appreciate your patience, and any prayers you're willing to send my way for a speedy recovery. If I don't get to see you over the next month, I wish you a blessed and peaceful holiday season!

Hi everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas holiday and are looking forward to the unfolding of this new year! My life has seemingly been on fast-forward for quite some time now and I can't believe we've already finished out 2024. SO much has happened! My daughter has already completed her first semester at Augsburg University, is enjoying her winter break right now, and is making plans to transfer to a new school next fall. My son is about to complete the first semester of his sophomore year in high school, and hockey season is in full swing for him now. He's practicing with both the JV and Varsity teams this season, which often means two practices back to back, and he swings between sitting back-up on Varsity and playing JV games. As a result, the schedule is pretty demanding; practices every day after school except game days and Sundays, and game days are one weekday evening every week and every Saturday through mid-February. The biggest challenge for me with his busy schedule is that he doesn't have his license yet, which means my work schedule is once again being fit around his hockey schedule.

Also for those that haven't already heard, back at the beginning of September I began another part-time job for a couple hours early mornings at a local elementary school, supervising Kindergarten through 5th graders in the before school care program. Taking on this job in the mornings has required a shift in my start time during the week from 9:30am to 10;30am. The benefit of taking on this extra source of steady income is that it is enabling me to continue working with clients without the physical demands of maintaining a full schedule every week. As I approach my 27th year as a Massage Therapist, I'm finding it exceedingly important to honor my physical limits so that I may continue doing what I love. I'm also filling more appointments for Intuitive Healing and Intuitive Guidance sessions, which is a really nice segue that keeps me working with clients in a way that is still very rewarding without being physically taxing.

And lastly, when you come for your appointment, you may notice a new furry face greeting you. Sadly, I had to say goodbye to my beloved cat Dudley the night before Thanksgiving. A few weeks later my daughter and I unexpectedly found a new little boy who has quickly managed to fill some of the void left by Dudley's departure. His name is Thatcher, and he's currently 14 weeks old. Stormy and Thatcher are steadily becoming best friends, and watching them form a bond with one another has been a balm for our broken hearts.

To wrap up, following is what I have available for the rest of this month. My Saturday schedule is currently full through the first weekend of February. As always, if you need a later time than what is listed, don't hesitate to ask and I'll see what I can do.

Fri 1/10 @ 10:30am and 12:30pm
Wed 1/15 @ 10:30am and 12:30pm
Fri 1/17 @ noon

Wed 1/22 @ 10:30am and 12:30pm
Fri 1/24 @ 10:30am and 12:30pm

Mon 1/27 @ 10:30am
Tues 1/28 @ 10:30am and 12:30pm
Wed 1/29 @ 12:30pm
Thurs 1/30 @ 10:30am and 12:30pm
Fri 1/31 @ 10:30am and 12:30pm

Let me know which of these dates and times work. I look forward to hearing from you!
