At Linthicum Pediatrics our providers, Dr. Ansari, Dr. Arthungal, Dr. Thompson, NP's Caroline Ames, Megan Benner, Stephanie Gonzalez believe in building strong relationships with families and delivering exceptional care in a warm, welcoming environment. Our focus is on creating a compassionate and caring connection with our patients and their families as we provide the most up-to-date and exceptional pediatric medical care as set forth by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Our pediatric providers have many decades of training and experience. Our staff members are knowledgable, highly-trained, devoted professionals, and our office provides a fun and friendly atmosphere in a modern and pristine environment for our patients and families.

Quick Thanksgiving Safety Tips from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)

Keep the holiday joyful and injury-free with these child-focused reminders:

🔥 Kitchen Safety

Create a “kid-free zone” at least 3 feet around the stove, oven, and hot foods.

Never hold a child while cooking or carrying hot items.

Turn pot handles toward the back of the stove and keep cords out of reach.

🍗 Food Safety

Cook turkey to 165°F internal temperature; thaw safely in the fridge (never on the counter).

Don’t leave perishable food out longer than 2 hours.

Clean up right away—small bones, alcohol, or leftovers can be choking/poisons hazards for little ones.

🚗 Travel Safety

Buckle everyone correctly: rear-facing as long as possible (ideally until age 2), then forward-facing, then booster until the seat belt fits properly.

All kids under 13 ride in the back seat.

🦃 General Holiday Fun

Supervise closely around decorations, candles, and button batteries (in toys/remotes).

Wash hands often and stay home if anyone’s sick to protect vulnerable little ones.

As we gear up for a season of gratitude (and delicious food!), here’s our schedule for Thanksgiving week:

🦃 Wednesday, November 26 → Closing early at 4:00 PM
🦃 Thursday, November 27 → CLOSED for Thanksgiving
🦃 Friday, November 28 → Open 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM for same-day sick visits only

📞 After-Hours Urgent Care
For anything that can’t safely wait until the next business day, call 443-481-3082 or 443-481-1000 and ask to page the on-call physician. Please note this number is for emergencies only, and we ask that routine calls for your provider or the office wait until the office is open during regular business hours.
